WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
We admire copperplate, the refined hand of the 18^th century, mainly because of its elegant set of capital letterforms. Once you have ploughed your way through learning how to write the lowercase shapes, you will now thoroughly enjoy learning how to write these capitals. We will start off using a pencil in order to get a good understanding of proportions before we move on to creating beautiful letterforms using the pointed pen. We will pay much attention to getting the right weight and keeping the right angle in the swelling line.
