INGRID DEPOOVER (B)
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
This workshop is a perfect introduction to the wonders of this elegant script: Anglaise. Depending on where you are, you will see this hand is called English roundhand, copperplate or zwelschrift (in Dutch). It originated as a script used for business transactions and documents, but it soon turned out to be an ideal letter to use in copper engravings. We will focus on learning how to write this letterform with a pointed nib. We will explain how to use the right amount of pressure and how to construct each letterform in the correct way.
WHAT IF THE WORKSHOP HAS FILLED UP?
Unfortunately, this workshop has filled up but please know that places do free up occasionally. So take your chance and sign up anyway. It will allow us to contact you straight away when a place has become available.
